]]> As the top of the field continues to go through the verification process, we are very excited to announce that the top three places are certified and valid! Congratulations to 2025 Walleye Fall Brawl Champion Jay Gullet who weighed in a 11.59#, 29.5″ walleye on November 20th. He wins a 2026 Ranger 622 FS from Vic’s Sports Center. Second place Michael Higinbotham held the lead for 11 days with his 11.46#, 31″ walleye caught November 11th. He wins a 2026 Ranger 621 FS from Vic’s Sports Center. Third place winner of $55,000 is Bradley Wissel who weighed a 11.42, 31.5″ walleye November 4th. We’ll keep you posted as results come in!

Vermilion River OH - GoFishLakeErieSpent a hot, sunny day out on Lake Erie from Vermillion. There was only a light southwest breeze, so we were able to fish out on the main lake with no waves. Only place we found fish, was around piles of rocks. Caught one on a chartreuse crank bait. Water was stained outside the breakwall, dirty in the river. We fished the docks in the river, to and didn’t catch much. Water was HOT – 81 – 87 degrees. We fished in 4 – 20 feet of water.
Vermillion public launch was easy to find with plenty of parking. There is a $7 launch fee.
