Spent a hot, sunny day out on Lake Erie from Vermillion. There was only a light southwest breeze, so we were able to fish out on the main lake with no waves. Only place we found fish, was around piles of rocks. Caught this one on a chartreuse crank bait. Water was stained outside the breakwall, dirty in the river. We fished the docks in the river, to and didn’t catch much. Water was HOT – 81 – 87 degrees. We fished in 4 – 20 feet of water.
